The Women’s Ministry meets for fellowship and occasional events. The group gathers for studying the bible, making a craft or two, or going on a retreat. For more information, please contact the Church office.
The Women's Book Club
The Women’s book club meets once a month after our 10:00 am Sunday service to discuss a book chosen in advance by the group and also to share prayer requests.
Thank you for a great meeting last month. It is always so meaningful to hear all of your opinions and thoughts, not only about the books we are reading, but also for the life lessons that you continue to share with all of us.
The next book we will be reading is "The Frozen River" by Ariel Lawhon. It is a very interesting book of 440 pages that reads very easily. If you need this book, please let me know, and I will be glad to order the book for you.
Our next, and last Book Club Meeting for this year, will be on Sunday, June 30. If you are still interested in being in the Book Club, we are planning to meet again in September. Any suggestions of books you think we would like to read, please see me or email me with the title and author of the book.
I would like to acknowledge Norma Turcotte for her beautiful closing prayers at the end of our meetings. The Holy Spirit certainly is swirling around all of us.
For more information, please contact Linda Seabury through the Church Office.
