Caring for each other, both formally and informally, has long been a strength of Saint David’s. Under that general heading, I include the delivery of the altar flowers each week, providing meals and/or rides to those who need them, home visits and Eucharistic visits, sending cards, distributing prayer shawls, and more. For the last few years, Sue O’Hare has done wonderful work coordinating virtually all aspects of our Caregivers Ministry, for which we should all be grateful. Now we are trying to expand the team. Sue will continue to coordinate the delivery of altar flowers each week, and providing meals to those who need them. Carol Fabrycki will coordinate rides for those who need them. Sandy Hamel will coordinate home visits, with or without Eucharist. The office will mail out cards.
Update 2023: Susan Amabile is restarting our Caregivers’ Ministry, to provide help to parishioners with temporary or permanent needs. The ministry can help with things like rides, meals, and errands. If you are interested in being part of the ministry, please contact Susan, contact form. Thanks!
If you have a need, or if you know someone who does, please either contact the office or be in touch with the person in charge of the relevant area.
