St. David's in Transition
April 2026 marked the beginning of a new chapter for St. David’s. Our beloved pastor of 14 years, Rev. Harvey Hill, retired. As difficult as it is to let go of someone who has dedicated himself to guiding his flock in the teachings of Jesus Christ, we must realize that change is a part of life. Rev. Harvey Hill gave all of himself to St David’s, and now it is time for him to take a new path.
We, as a congregation, will now start down a new path as well. My hope and prayer is that we follow God’s plan as we travel this new path in search for a new priest. We are dedicated to continuing to provide Sunday services, Bible studies, and fellowship. We welcome Rev. John McGinty, who has been helping us with Sunday Holy Eucharist as a supply priest. Our dedicated Deacon, Terry Hurlburt, continues to serve at all services as well as lead us in Morning Prayer. Our committed Sunday School teachers provide a wonderful learning experience for our youth.
We continue to be a vibrant church with many activities. Our monthly Veteran’s lunch continues. We will continue to have monthly dinners, various fundraisers, including our annual Holiday bazaar. We have fellowship with our coffee hours and annual parish picnic as well as many other fellowship activities (often including food!). Bible study, contemplative prayer and Women’s book club also continue.
We invite all who are interested in fellowship at a Bible-based church.
